About Air Fryer Scout
Air Fryer Scout started as a spreadsheet. One of us was trying to pick a family-size air fryer, got tired of top-10 listicles that mix single-person mini units with 10-quart party machines, and started tracking basket capacity vs footprint vs actual owner complaints. The spreadsheet became this site. Every guide asks capacity first, cook style second, and price third — in that order.
How we work
We build each recommendation from three inputs: manufacturer spec sheets (basket dimensions, wattage, program list), verified-buyer review patterns from at least 200 recent owners (looking for cleanup complaints, dead-heater issues, non-stick wear), and cross-checks against reputable expert testing. If we've cooked on a unit ourselves, we call that out; otherwise we don't pretend.
How we make money
When you click an Amazon link on Air Fryer Scout and buy an air fryer, we earn a small commission. That commission is what keeps this site independent — we don't take payment for placement, don't accept free units in exchange for coverage, and don't tune our picks to Amazon's promo rotation. Our top pick is the top pick because it wins on the capacity/cleanup/cook-quality math, full stop.
